During the period 01.10.2017 – 30.09.2019 E&D will be involved in a new international project – ENGAGE – ENhancinG Adults key competences to promote and encouraGe effective cooperation between Education and labor market.

In collaboration with 7 partners from 5 other EU countries we will develop tools to improve young adults’ skills in the area of problem solving, critical thinking, creativity and teamwork and facilitate the match between young adults and employers through delivery of high quality learning opportunities tailored to the needs of low skilled young adults.

Specifically, the partnership will:

– create Virtual Platform for future skills diagnosis and improvement;
– create Matching Portal for connecting skills and labour market needs;
– increase motivation of low-skilled young adults through participatory approach;
– widely disseminate the results.

The project aims at supporting low-skilled young adults up to 29 years of age, especially those looking for job, NEETs (not in employment, education or training) in assessment of skills, development and creation of attractive portfolio and as a result matching them with employers who will offer them appropriate position. The project directly answers the need to promote the development of skills in the area of problem solving, critical thinking, creativity and teamwork.
